Matters 549 – Father’s Day
Father’s Day is a day to celebrate. The Father and Mother became one flesh.
Genesis 2:24 – Therefore shall a man
leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall
be one flesh
A father is special. One which provides direction, but allows you
to grow. One which loves, but also feels
your pain. One that feels your setbacks
and enjoys your victories. The love of a
Father is felt. There is no greater love
than God the Father had for you than when he sent his Son to be a sacrifice for
your sins. Jesus delivered God’s gospel
of Love, as commanded was for you to grow in love. Love of God.
Love of neighbor. These things around
you are no longer just the things of this world, but blessings from God. As a new man you realize that everything you
have or will ever have, are gifts from God.
Jeremiah
3:19 – But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a
pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou
shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
The blessings you already have may be some of the
most valuable gifts you will ever obtain.
Your family, a spouse, children, brothers or sisters or close friends
are those that can never be replaced. At
one time, being lost in the things of the world, you did not care for these
gifts as you should have. The devil was
working hard to try and steal these from you!
As a child of the Father, these things appear brighter and new. Put all bitterness, wrath and anger away from
you. Never give way to the devil and
take hold of the blessings God has given you.
Forgive as God has forgiven you.
John 20:17 – Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not;
for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto
them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Put off the old man and the lusts of the
world. Be renewed in the spirit of your
mind and put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and
true holiness. Worship the one true God,
the Father.
John 8:54 – Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my
honor is nothing: it is my Father that honors me; of whom ye say, that he is
your God:
Become of child of God with a heart towards
God. God will direct your paths. The peace of God will keep you heart and
minds focused on love. Praying and thanking God for all your blessings. Today,
share the love of a father to your blessings from God. Share the blessings and bring your loved ones
up in a glorious life of loving and serving God.
To God be the glory in all you do, Amen.
