False Doctrine
Bible Matters 550: False Doctrine
God’s Gospel of Love is presented simply in the
first chapter of Peter. No mystery. No magical revelation. Just pure and simple, when you believe, you
live your life for the glory of God. You must repent, be born again and turning
your walk from sin to a walk of righteousness by the word of God.
1 Peter 1:14,23 – As obedient children, not
fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: Being born again, not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.
God is the judge.
Your goal is to perform works of love.
1 Peter 1:17 – And if ye call on the Father, who
without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time
of your sojourning here in fear:
Obey the truth in God’s word with love of thy
neighbor.
1 Peter 1:14,22 – As obedient children, not
fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying
the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye
love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Endure to the end with hope and salvation of your
souls.
1 Peter 1:9,13 – Receiving the end of your faith,
even the salvation of your souls.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end
for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
So simple, but so complicated if you are selling
religion.
This week, I went to a funeral of a high school
buddy and fellow track team mate. A man
who smiled and loved like no one you ever saw.
Great guy. The celebration of
life service included a song and three bible verses and the false doctrine out
of the mouth of one witness on how to get saved.
“John 14:3 – And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye
may be also.
So….how do we get to heaven?
Romans 10:9 – If you declare with your mouth,
“Jesus is Lord.” And believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will saved.
Acts 2:38 – Peter replied, “Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins,
and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
That was quoted as God’s plan of salvation! Believe in these verses and you are going to
heaven. This message is so far from the
truth in God’s word. It is criminal to
sell such a scheme of deception. This is
so sad for the unknowing to be led astray by such ignorance of the gospel. These three verses is used to sell man’s
religion, every day. Do not believe this
false doctrine labeled as a simple plan of salvation. Salvation is not all about you.
This ministry was started by God, because churches are
perverting God’s word, claiming salvation, without repentance and without love
for neighbor and love for God. The
devil has changed the wording in the above celebration of life verses to
present a “will” guarantee, instead of a future state, “shall” promise. Let’s look at the original translation and
include Romans 10:10.
Romans 10:9-10 – That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
In this original verse, “shalt be saved” is a
future state promise of everlasting life for those that live a life, giving
glory to God, unto righteousness, with a confession of turning from sin (i.e.
repentance), to belief in God that raised Jesus from the dead.
The Holy Ghost is reserved to those with a change
of heart toward sin and desire to do the will of God. The Holy Ghost doesn’t
just come because you want it. You “shall
receive” the Holy Ghost in a future state when you do the will of God.
Acts 2:38 – Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and
be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive
the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I struggled with this verse for many years. Churches around the world, use these verses
with a false promise of everlasting life.
If you know your bible, then you recognize that not even Jesus could
send the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost did not come at this setting as commanded
by Jesus.
John 20:21-22 – Then said Jesus to them again,
Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on
them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
When I finally got fed up with church keeping score
of the number of people they saved with those selected verses, I prayed to God
for help. God texted me Romans 8:28.
Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according
to his purpose.
I texted those pastors and jail ministers that were
perverting God’s word and told them, that they could not promise nor guarantee
salvation to anyone, with a couple of verses.
I acquired this jail ministry and the church was kicked out.
If Jesus could not send the Holy Ghost at the will
of man, then I’m pretty sure that God does not send the Holy Ghost at an act of
man. Water Baptism will not likely send
the Holy Ghost. The gift of the Holy
Ghost cannot be bought. God sends the
Holy Ghost when you decide to live your life for the glory of God. All power comes from God above.
John 19:11 – Jesus
answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given
thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
1 Peter 1:5 – Who are kept by the power of God
through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
James 1:16-17 – Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the
Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
The gift of the Holy Ghost cannot be bought. When your heart is right with God, then God
sends the Holy Ghost.
Acts 8:18-21 – And when Simon saw that through
laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them
money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may
receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee,
because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter:
for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
Do not be deceived.
Decide today to study God’s gospel of Love and go live your life unto
good works, for God’s glory. Endure to
the end, with the hope of everlasting life.
Pray to God for strength, power and opportunities to give him the glory
by being his witness. Do not confuse
Jesus with God. Jesus was sent by God to
deliver a gospel. Jesus is not God. In this one witness verse, John gave
testimony That Jesus will take his disciples with him.
John 14:3 – And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye
may be also.
When Jesus returned after his ascension into
heaven, the disciples asked if they could return with Jesus. Jesue siad that he had no power to order them
into heaven. Jesus told them to keep
doing what they are doing per the will of God!
Secret Book of James – The Savior Appears – Now
all twelve disciples [were] sitting together [at the same time] recalling what
the Savior had told each of them, whether privately or publicly, and organizing
it in books. [But I] was writing what went into [my book]. Look! The Savior
appeared, [after] he had left [us, while we were watching] for him. Five
hundred and fifty days after he had risen from the dead, we told him, “You went
away and left us!” But Jesus said, “No, but I’ll return to the place from which
I came. If you want to come with me, come on!”
They all replied and said, “We’ll come if you
tell us to.”
He said, “Truly I tell you, no one will ever
enter the kingdom of heaven because I ordered it, but because you yourselves
are full. Leave James and Peter to me so that I may fill them.”
After he called these two, he took them aside
and told the rest to keep doing what they were doing.
Do not be misled by false doctrine. Please, go live God’s gospel of love!
To God be the glory in all you do, Amen.
