Bible Matters 571: The Cross
There is no doubt that a “man”
named Jesus came to the earth and delivered God’s gospel of Love. Following this delivery, Jesus was executed
on the cross by the Roman Governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate. Jesus declared himself to be a “man” that
spoke the truth.
John 8:40 – But now ye seek
to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this
did not Abraham.
Evidence in the Christian
bible from the testimony of a multitude of New Testament witnesses in the four
gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) give full accounts of the arrest,
trial, and death of Jesus on a cross. Early
Jewish historical and religious texts outside of the New Testament confirm that
Jesus was executed under Pontius Pilate. The primary early Jewish pieces of
evidence come from the writings of the 1st-century Jewish historian Flavius
Josephus and traditions preserved in the Babylonian Talmud mention that Jesus
was put to death.
Roman Records: The Roman
historian Tacitus wrote about the execution of Jesus by Pontius Pilate during
the rule of Emperor Tiberius.

The Testimonium Flavianum:
In Book 18 of Jewish Antiquities, written around AD 93, Josephus includes a
passage noting that Jesus was a wise man who was condemned to crucifixion by
Pontius Pilate at the suggestion of principal men among the Jews. While parts
of this text are widely considered by scholars to have been interpolated or
altered by later Christian copyists, a strong scholarly consensus holds that an
authentic core—confirming Jesus’s arrest, trial, and crucifixion under
Pilate—originated with Josephus.
The Gospel Coalition: Reference to James: In Book 20, Josephus
mentions the illegal execution of “James, the brother of Jesus who was
called the Christ,” providing a secondary, widely accepted cross-reference
acknowledging Jesus’s historical footprint.
Execution Details: Passages
in the Babylonian Talmud (such as Sanhedrin 43a) date back to early rabbinic
traditions. Though polemical and hostile toward Jesus—characterizing him as a
sorcerer—the text explicitly records that Jesus was put to death by hanging (a
term used interchangeably or in tandem with crucifixion in ancient Jewish and
Roman contexts) on the eve of Passover.
Historical Corroboration:
The Talmudic accounts do not deny Jesus’s death; instead, they independently
corroborate that a public execution took place in Judea during the Passover
season.
Christian bible, New

give testimony of Jesus’s death on the cross.
Six witnesses that give testimony, that in a court of law would confirm
that Jesus died on the cross.
Matthew 27:35 – And they
crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them,
and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Matthew 27:50-51 – Jesus,
when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent
in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.
Mark 15:24 – And when they
had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every
man should take.
Mark 15:32,37 – Let Christ
the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And
they that were crucified with him reviled him.
And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.
Luke 23:33-34 – And when
they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him,
and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then
said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they
parted his raiment, and cast lots.
John 19:34-36 – But one of
the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood
and water. And he that saw it bare
record, and his record is true: and he knows that he saith true, that ye might
believe. For these things were done,
that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
Acts 2:36 – Therefore, let
all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus,
whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 5:29-30 – Then Peter
and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
The God of our fathers raised up Jesus,
whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Philippians 2:8 – And being
found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross.
Hebrews 12:2 – Looking unto
Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand
of the throne of God.
1 Peter 2:24 – Who his own
self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins,
should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
A death on the cross for the
King of the Jews. 1940 years later, a
Gentile by the name of Ron Wyatt found the Ark of the Covenant. While Ron was walking outside the walls of
Jerusalem, God directed Ron where to dig and to find the Ark of the
Covenant. In an area filled with loose rock,
like as a dump, Ron found the original site of where Jesus was crucified. At the base of the cross, the rock was rent
or cracked as described in the bible at the time of the death of Jesus. In a cave immediately below this crack, Ron
had found the Ark of the Covenant covered in dried blood. He scrapped the blood and filled a 35mm film
cannister. The blood was reconstituted
in saline at body temperature by stirring for 72 hours and it became alive with
white blood cells. This is not normal as
white blood cells of dried blood are dead and never come back to life. Jesus’s blood came back to life. The white blood cells contained only 24
chromosomes and not the normal 46. 23
chromosomes were from Mary and only 1 (a single Y chromosome) from the Holy Ghost. The other 22 chromosomes, normally from a
male, were not there. With physical
characteristics, as of Mary, Jesus was no ordinary man. Only half Jew, like as a Samarian. The Jewish leaders told Ron that the Ark of
the Covenant would be unveiled when the temple was finished. Ron was told by God, to tell us about the
blood. What will happen on the day when
the blood is revealed with the Ark? Documentaries

Mary was found with child,
conceived by the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 1:18 – Now the birth
of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to
Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy
Ghost.

A French explorer had
concluded that the Ark of the Covenant was in the area referred to as
Jeremiah’s Grotto, a hundred years early.
God did not allow the Ark to be revealed at that time. God needed Ron Wyatt, who knew blood, as a believer
to find the Ark and analyze the blood. God is the Supreme.
The Gospel of Love consists
of six points:
• Believe in one true Supreme
being. When you believe in the Supreme,
then you believe in the scriptures.
• Repent of your sins and
surrender unto the Supreme, with the Lord dwelling in your hearts.
• Judge no one – All
believers will be judged based on your pure walk to the words of the
Supreme. Do not judge nor assume
righteousness by comparing your walk against another.
• Love the Supreme. Your walk will be your testimony by serving
the Lord.
• Love your Neighbor – Do
good using your talents with fervent acts of charity.
• Do the will of the Supreme
unto eternal life.
God is looking for you to
live his gospel of Love. To love your
neighbor as yourself. God is looking for
your service! It is time to head into a
new direction and worship God as the Creator!
Romans 1:25 – Who changed
the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
God wants you to come to a
realization to the truth in God’s word and obey the gospel of Love that Jesus
delivered. Regardless as to what your
doctrine may say or what you may believe or think, the preponderance of
evidence is overwhelming from the six New Testament witnesses and historical
sources that the man, Jesus Christ died on the cross. With
the temple veil torn in two, you can talk directly to God.
Gospel of Peter: The Lord Dies – And it was mid-day, and
darkness held fast over all Judea. And they were troubled and distressed lest
the sun set, since he was still living. It’s written to them, “The sun
shouldn’t set on one who’s been killed.”
And one of them said, “Give him bile with sour wine to drink.”
And having mixed it, they gave it to him to drink. And they fulfilled all things and
accumulated the sins on their head. And
many were going around with lanterns, thinking it was night, and some fell
down.
And the Lord cried out, saying, “My
Power, the Power, you’ve left me!” And when he said this, it was taken
up. And that very hour, the veil of the
temple in Jerusalem was torn in two.
