Deliverance
Bible
Matters 514: Deliverance
As you look
at the preponderance of evidence from the witnesses, did you ask yourself what
will release you from this earthly body and deliver you to God, full of grace
and ready to be received into the Kingdom of God?
This is
lesson 514 in this ministry. 5 is the
number of grace, favor. 14 is the number
for deliverance, release
I’ve read
this verse many times and it wasn’t until this lesson does it make sense.
Mark 10:31 –
But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
There are
many, who are first at being exposed to God’s word. Without knowing the truth in God’s Gospel of
Love, one continues his earthly walk without living a life worthy of God’s
grace. By living a life pleasing to the
flesh, they will be last to enter the Kingdom of God. You are one of the last to understand the
truth in God’s Gospel of Love and you recognize that to enter God’s Kingdom,
God is looking for you to turn from your evil ways and living a life pleasing
to God, as evident by your works. God
will deliver you into his kingdom.
Jonah 3:10 –
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; …
God
delivered the youngest child of Israel, Joseph from the evil. His brothers sold Joseph to the Midianites
for 20 pieces of silver, who in turn sold him to the Egyptians.
Genesis
37:3,36 – Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was
the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours. And the
Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, and
captain of the guard.
Despite the
hardships, Joseph loved the Lord. And
the Lord was with Joseph. His Master’s
wife threw herself and Joseph and Joseph refused. He knew such action was sin. The wife lied and Joseph was put in
prison. The keeper of the prison, committed
Jospeh over the prisoners. Like Joseph,
your walk will be your testimony.
Genesis
39:2,7-9- And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was
in the house of his master the Egyptian.
And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her
eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
But he refused … because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great
wickedness, and sin against God?
Joseph
interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and said it told of 7 years of plenty and then 7
years of famine. Pharaoh put Jospeh over
the land of Egypt. The famine was fierce
and Joseph sold corn throughout the area.
Genesis
41:39,41,57 – And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee
all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: And Pharaoh said unto
Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. And all countries came
into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in
all land.
God
delivered Joseph from evil. Israel and
his brothers came to Egypt to buy corn.
Joseph took care of them.
Regardless of the circumstance, Joseph gave God the glory. Joseph loved God and it showed. He could have slept with Pharoah’s wife, but
did not because it was sin! Joseph’s
works were pure. He was on fire for God.
Revelation
3:15 – I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert
cold or hot.
For
deliverance, humble yourself in the eyes of God, turn from sin and God will
heal your land.
2 Chronicles
7:14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Prepare your
heart to seek the Lord. God will
deliver you from evil.
2 Chronicles
12:14 – And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.
Matthew 6:13
– And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
Overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21
– Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Like Jesus,
God will be with you. By living the
gospel of Love, Jesus went about doing good.
Acts 10:38 –
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went
about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was
with him.
You can be
cold and stay in the flesh. You can be
hot and live for God. For deliverance,
God is looking for you to do good.
Ecclesiastes
3:12 – I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to
do good in his life.
Romans
13:1-4 – Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no
power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power,
resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to
themselves damnation. For rulers are not
a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the
power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is
the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be
afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a
revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
God is
looking for your good works. Laying a
firm foundation against the time to come, unto eternal life.
Matthew 5:16
– Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and
glorify your Father which is in heaven.
John 10:32 –
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for
which of those works do ye stone me?
Acts 9:36 –
Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by
interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and alms
deeds which she did.
1 Timothy
2:9-10 – In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel,
with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or
costly array; But (which becometh women
professing godliness) with good works.
1 Timothy
5:10,24-25 – Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children,
if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have
relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work. Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going
before to judgment; and some men they follow after. Likewise also the good works of some are
manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
1 Timothy
6:17-19 – Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded,
nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all
things to enjoy; That they do good, that
they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good
foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
2 Timothy
3:17 – That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good
works.
Titus 2:14
-Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify
unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 3:14 –
And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be
not unfruitful.
Hebrews
10:24 – And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Hebrews
13:16 – But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices
God is well pleased
By well
doing, you will put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. Not to do good is sin! Avoid evil and do good.
1 Peter
2:12,15-17 – Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas
they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they
shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. For so is the will of God, that with well
doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a
cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the
brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
James 4:17 –
Therefore to him that knows to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
1 Peter 3:11
– Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
The Supreme
( i.e. God, Allah, Brahman) is looking for your righteous good deeds unto
eternal life.
Family of
Imran 114 They believe in Allah and the Last Day; they enjoin Al-Ma’ruf
(Islamic Monotheism, and following Prophet Muhammad SAW) and forbid Al-Munkar
(polytheism, disbelief and opposing Prophet Muhammad SAW); and they hasten in
(all) good works; and they are among the righteous.
Family of
Imran 115 And whatever good they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for
Allah knows well those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious – see V.2:2).
The Bee 97
Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a
true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life
(in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall
pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do
(i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).
The Cow 62
Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians,
whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall
have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they
grieve.
Worship one God and go
live your life, unto good works. Your
reward will be with the Lord.
DO NOT believe the one
verse, used by deceivers to tell you that only faith is required for salvation
and quote these verses from Ephesians.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by
grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Both Paul and Peter
spoke out against works of religion (i.e. circumcision) as a requirement for
salvation.
Acts 15:1,5-11 – And
certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except
ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. But there rose up certain of the sect of the
Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and
to command them to keep the law of Moses.
And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this
matter. And when there had been much
disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that
a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should
hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts,
bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put
no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke
upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to
bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be
saved, even as they.
That is exactly where
verse Ephesians 2:9 was derived!
When you believe in the
gospel of Love, God tells you that he is looking for your good works out of
love. The preponderance of evidence from
the six witnesses and two prophets have delivered this message.
Ephesians 2:10 – For we
are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath
before ordained that we should walk in them.
Family of Imran 115 And
whatever good they do, nothing will be rejected of them; for Allah knows well
those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious – see V.2:2).
Decide today, that your walk with the Lord God
will be unto deliverance by your good works.
To God be the glory in all you do, Amen.
