Bible Matters 502: The Witnesses

God made it clear twelve times in the bible that out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, you will know the truth.  You must listen to the witness and compare their testimonies to know the truth in God’s word.

From the beginning, it was clear that man will either serve God or money.  Man will either love or hate.  James warned you that a double minded person is unstable in all your ways.  Draw nigh to God and put your trust in him.

James 1:8 – A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 4:8 – Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

God is looking for your good works and he rewards those that diligently seek him.  Both Cain and Abel were children of Adam and Eve.  Cain, a tiller of the ground, killed Abel, a shepherd.

Genesis 4:8 KJV – And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

God sent Noah and his son’s.  Japeth, Shem and Ham, to repopulate the earth.  These sons – Migrated in different directions: Japheth–Europe; Shem-Asia; Ham-Africa.  Japeth was enlarged with the things of the earth, Shem loved God and Ham was a servant. 

Genesis 9:26-27 – And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Will you be like Lot and listen to the witnesses sent by God or will you stay in a place of sin and let it destroy you?  God used two angels to tell Lot to take his family and leave the city of sin.

Genesis 19:1,15 – And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

Moses received direction from God to lead the people out of Egypt.  Moses was slow to speak and feared that he could no lead the people.  God sent him Aaron to speak God’s word for Moses.  Will you be God’s witness and speak God’s gospel of Love to you neighbors?

Exodus 4:14 – And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he sees thee, he will be glad in his heart.

When Moses arrived to the promised land, he sent one son from each of the twelve tribes of Israel to survey the land.  Only two witnesses came back, Joshua and Caleb, with great faith and the news that the land could be theirs, with God’s help. Moses never made it into the promised land.  Caleb and Joshua did.  Will you follow God’s word and listen to the witnesses.

Numbers 32:12 – Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the Lord.

Joshua knew the importance of two witnesses.  The house of Rahab was spared by Joshua, as a result of these two witnesses. Rahab did not perish with the town of Jericho.

Joshua 6:25 – And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

God used two witnesses to develop the house of Israel.

Ruth 4:11 – And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

The Lord use three witnesses as a testimony of the power of God in keeping one safe.  God kept Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego safe from the flames of the fiery furnace.  With great faith, God will deliver you from your fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:26 – Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spoke and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

God sent his disciples out two by two.

Mark 6:7,12 – And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

God sent two angels at the tomb, to witness to Mary Magdalene.

John 20:11-12 – But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher, And saw two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

Paul knew to send disciples out two by two.

2 Timothy 4:7,11 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

In addition to Seth and Ham, God needed two more witnesses to deliver his Gospel of Love. God sent the prophet Jesus to the house of Israel with the commandments to love God and love thy neighbor.  Six hundred years later, God sent the prophet Muhammed to the Middle East with the same message of love that Jesus brought to this earth.  

During my walk with God in his ministry, he has sent me witness after witness as a testimony to God’s power.

Twice God texted me to direct me to do his will.  First “Ecclesiastes” and second “Romans 8:28”.  First, to turn from living my life for the glory of money and second for me to stand up against the deceivers going around saving people with a couple of bible verses. 

After I defended God’s word, God sent me multiple witnesses.  Thomas had an after life experience where he visited God in heaven, talked to his brother that died in the womb and God sent him back to earth.  Rick had an after life experience and talked to God and God sent him back to earth.  Randy was “saved” by man, baptized and was living his life as an alcoholic for the devil.  Randy’s wife of 38 years tried to kill him with a knife and just wanted him gone.  Randy wants his wife to be saved and baptized.   Warner knew of God, but it wasn’t until the end of life and organ failure when he stated that God would not want him to commit suicide.  Warner transfer to a nursing home allowed the power of God to be witnesses to a young lady that reads the bible.  Warner endured to the end.   Ron Wyatt proved the bible real by confirming Noah’s Ark, the Red Sea crossing, Mt Sinai, Sodom and Gomorrah, the location of the crucifixion of Jesus and the Ark of the Covenant.  On top of the Ark of the Covenant was the dried blood of Jesus which only contained 24 chromosomes.     

God also sent two witnesses that were leading their life for the glory of religion.  Both had an after life experience and they visited hell.  Howard Pitmann preached the gospel of self-fulfillment by saving people and was told by God that his works were an abomination.  Kathy McDaniels spent time in hell, then she visited heaven and talked directly to God.  No Jesus on the right hand and no Peter.  She stated that she was lied to by religion.  Both were sent back to earth. 

After finishing my fifty church witness, three witness openly disagreed with God’s gospel of Love.    It is clear that God’s gospel of Love was sent by the prophets with a six point message for you on how to live your life for the glory of God.  A doctrine of believing in one God, repenting of your sins, judging no one, loving God and loving your neighbor, endure to the end and enjoy everlasting life with God in heaven for the promise.

1 John 2:25 – And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Titus 1:2 – In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

 It is time for you to know the truth in God’s word!  God’s church over the world wide web requires no tithing, no ordinances of man, no titles, no salaries, just lessons based the truth in God’s word out of the mouth of two or three witnesses. Go share God’s word, tell others about God’s church, his gospel of Love and endure to the end!
